Welcome to our on-line Animal Science Course! |
This page covers course requirements, grading policy, and other information pertinent to the completion of this one credit course. Students completing Animal Science are also eligible to be a part of our FFA program.
Required Text: Animal Science, by James R. Gillespie
Students will be required to complete eleven chapter reviews covering
selected sections of the required text. Copies of completed reviews must
be sent to instructor in order to receive credit. These can be sent as
an e-mail attachment.
Four proctored tests will be given
covering text material. It is strongly recommended that students
carefully study chapter reviews before attempting tests. Test 1 will
cover chapters 1, 2, 7, and 8. Test 2 will cover chapters 10, 11 and the
Beef Industry. Test 3 will cover the remaining chapters. Test 4 is
comprehensive and will cover all eleven chapter reviews, as well as the
important terms.
In addition, students will be required to complete a breeds notebook.
